Description: This print is of an original hand drawn artwork of mine which is inspired by acoustic guitar singer songwriter Legend J Taylor. When drawing this piece I spent a lot of time on the composition, the style and the overall look of the drawing. Focusing on the 70s period of his career the original piece was drawn using a varitey of indian inks which gave me the capability to add in detailed and really fine line work in my drawing to ensure every fine line of hair, shading and texturing were included. Description: An octopus is a soft-bodied, eight-limbed mollusk of the order Octopoda. The order consists of some 300 species and is grouped within the class Cephalopoda with squids, cuttlefish, and nautiloids. Like other cephalopods, an octopus is bilaterally symmetric with two eyes and a beaked mouth at the centre point of the eight limbs. The soft body can radically alter its shape, enabling octopuses to squeeze through small gaps. They trail their eight appendages behind them as they swim. The siphon is used both for respiration and for locomotion, by expelling a jet of water. Octopuses have a complex nervous system and excellent sight, and are among the most intelligent and behaviourally diverse of all invertebrates.

When drawing this piece I spent a lot of time on the composition, the style and the overall look of the drawing. Focusing on Croce's basic attire of his famous blue shirt, along with his his classic performing set up sat upon a stool with an acoustic guitar this drawing en captures all of the key elements in the making of his music. After putting in much effort time and details the finished piece highlights Croce during the stage in his life where he was at his peak of success.
