One such event is the third Annual RV Jamboree in Bigfork, Montana back in 1971. From travel trailers and motor homes to pop-ups and slide ins, they came from all over America and made it happen.
Description: On July 16, 1977, over 20,000 country music fans gathered at Brush Run Park in St. Clairsville, Ohio for two full days of music from legendary country artists as Jamboree in the Hills. The event was very unique, but not just because the biggest country music stars would perform on the same stage to an outdoor audience. The really unique thing was that fans could bring their own food and drink to the show. Wagons and coolers, campsites and barbecues, and lots of people having a great time, all backed by life country music. The event would go on to become one of the most beloved country music festivals in America with more than 200,000 fans participating in the perfect combination of music festival, camping trip, and epic summer party.
