Description: Carduelis psaltria - Lesser Goldfinches are present in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona all year around, as I explain in my video about them here: https://youtu.be/0z74Md5D9Po?si=P5LjmktgT5VsLMYY This artwork is an abstract rendering of a photograph I took of them on their feeder - a finch sock - outside my window. As spirit or totem birds, they represent joy, optimism, resilience, and triumph over hardship.
