Lost Places Shorts
Description: Some places disappear long before their stories do. I Stop for Things That Aren’t There Anymore celebrates the forgotten motels, roadside diners, gas stations, drive-ins, signs, and attractions slowly fading from the landscape. Designed like a distressed vintage travel poster, this Field Research Division graphic combines an empty highway, abandoned roadside landmarks, film photography, old maps, and a compass with the motto Explore • Document • Preserve. Made for photographers, road-trippers, urban explorers, preservationists, local history enthusiasts, and anyone who brakes for an old sign or forgotten building. Because sometimes the most interesting destinations aren’t on the map anymore. You just have to stop long enough to notice.

Made for film photographers, road-trip wanderers, urban explorers, abandoned-place enthusiasts, and curious travelers who know the best discoveries rarely announce themselves. Keep the camera ready, take the back road, and remember the first rule of the Photographic Survey Division: photograph first, ask questions later.
