Megaforce Deeds Not Words 1982 Shorts
Description: MegaForce is a 1982 action film about an elite multinational military unit that does the jobs that individual governments won't. When the peaceful Republic of Sardun in under threat from their more aggressive neighbor, the beautiful Major Zara and General Byrne-White see the help of Ace Hunter and MegaForce. The movie was chock-full of futuristic military vehicles, weaponry, and enough stunts and explosions to keep any 12-year-old engaged, but sadly, that was about the extent of its reach. Intended to be a huge summer blockbuster, the film was poorly received by critics, bombed at the box office and was nominated for three Raspberries, including Worst Picture.
Description: A high-octane, retro-futuristic action artwork featuring a heroic figure in battle armor and a glamorous woman, surrounded by futuristic vehicles, missiles, bikes, and jets. With a bold slogan “Deeds Not Words” arching above, the piece screams 80s military sci-fi, patriotism, and explosive energy in vintage comic-book style.
Description: Despite official denials by leaders of the free world, sources now confirm the existence of Megaforce, a phantom army of super-elite fighting men, whose weapons are the most powerful science can devise. Their mission: to preserve freedom and justice, battling the forces of tyranny and evil in every corner of the globe.
