Description: During my daily morning walk on the beach, I discovered this wonderful, peaceful seascape with impressive lava rock formations and the majestic Mount Etna volcano in the background on the right. The photograph was taken on 28 October 2024 with a NIKON D800 (lens: NIKKOR 24.0-70.0 mm f/2.8). The waves lap gently against the shore, creating a calming effect. The October sky is azure blue and very clear. The fresh, light breeze from the Ionian Sea is invigorating and soothing at the same time. The beach at Giardini Naxos is one of the most important and most visited seaside resorts in Sicily. It stretches for about 4 km south of Taormina, from Capo Schisò to Capo Taormina.
