This is a group of 22 individuals with three Silver Backs. The top Silver Back leads the family through the jungle and has mating rights with all the females. This design is for Uganda safari travelers, mountain gorilla conservationists, and adventurers who Protect Our Forests, Preserve Our Heritage.

Description: Mountain Gorillas (Gorilla beringei beringei) are critically endangered still with an estimated population of around 880 individuals left in the wild. Their outlook has brightened a little in recent years due to conservation efforts from groups and programs like the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Despite these efforts, poaching and encroaching human population is still a threat to Mountain gorillas and their habitat.

Description: This was one of many gorillas in a group that we were able to spend an hour with in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, Uganda. We didn't even need to hike very far to see this amazing group and spend quality time with them. It's an experience I recommend to everyone!
