Description: The ouroboros representing death and rebirth, creation and destruction, constant renewal, evolution, infinity. The knife through the snake representing the fight, the struggle, the process. Together this symbol can be look at as continual growth through and pass pain, advancing past barriers, growing stronger through the process of life.
Description: Texture. Ouroboros: The snake eating its own tail represents the recreation of life through death by the Universe, in an eternal cycle of renewal. It can also represent the idea of primordial unity related to something existing in or persisting before any beginning with such force or qualities it cannot be extinguished. The mathematical symbol for infinity is said to be derived from a version of Ouroboros.
