Partridge Shorts
Description: The grey partridge (Perdix perdix), also known as the gray-legged partridge,[2] English partridge, Hungarian partridge, or hun, is a gamebird in the pheasant family Phasianidae of the order Galliformes, gallinaceous birds. The scientific name is the Latin for "partridge", and is itself derived from Ancient Greek perdix. The grey partridge is a rotund bird, brown-backed, with grey flanks and chest. The belly is white, usually marked with a large chestnut-brown horse-shoe mark in males, and also in many females.
Description: A Partridge In A Pear Tree Cut-Out Stencil Retro-Style is what my true love gave to me for the first day of Christmas. A beautiful, festive, and decorative design of a songbird sitting in a colorful fruit tree: a symbol of the annoying Christmas carol or song. The twelve days of Christmas is the period in Christian theology that marks the span between the birth of Christ and the coming of the Magi, the three wise men. It begins on December 25 and runs through January 6, the Epiphany or Three Kings’ Day. ABOUT THE ART © Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 8:49:23 AM Tracey Harrington Simpson
