Description: Real Santa Barbara was a former soccer team. The name real, meaning royal, came from Spanish teams (as in Real Madrid), just like current MLS club Real Salt Lake. The club played in the city of Santa Barbara, California. It was active for the 1989 season in the Western Soccer League and the 1990 season in the American Professional Soccer League.

Description: En mi pais se invoca a Santa Bárbara cada vez que hay tormenta pero leyendo sobre ella no se supone que sea patrona "del clima" sin embargo se le considera patrona de los mineros, los artilleros y armeros del ejercito. Santa Bárbara era muy joven cuando fue martirizada por su propio padre a quien lo partió un rayo (merecidamente) y siempre se le representa cerca de rayo. Usualmente se le muestra vestida de rojo y azul pero yo he preferido colores más suaves.

Description: In the film Apocalypse Now (1979), Robert Duvall wears a Yater T-shirt and has a Yater Spoon board, the latter of which is stolen by the patrol boat crew (in a scene that was cut from the original version, but seen in the Apocalypse Now Redux version). Yater was unaware he would be mentioned in the movie until after it came out. Neither of the Spoons in the film are actual Yates surfboards, but rather spruced-up second-hand boards.
