Description: The Kon-Tiki was a legendary Polynesian-themed restaurant and bar located in the Sheraton-Cleveland Hotel (now Hotel Cleveland) on Public Square in downtown Cleveland. It was the third location in a national chain of tiki restaurants created by actor-turned-restaurateur Stephen Crane in partnership with Sheraton Hotels. Known for its "exotic" island-themed décor, including carved totems, flaming cocktails, and a wooden bridge that guests crossed to enter the dining area.
