Tarkus Shorts
Description: "Let me give you a nibble of advice. Don't even consider visiting Anor Londo. Not in your state. For a century, they have tried, and failed. The Knight King Redal, Black Iron Tarkus, and even Logan himself. You won't stand a chance. You'll be eaten alive. But, go along, if you wish. If only to deepen your despair!"
Description: This vintage-inspired artwork pays homage to Tarkus, the groundbreaking 1971 progressive rock album by Emerson, Lake & Palmer. The design features the album’s iconic surreal creature — a hybrid armadillo-tank with a metallic, riveted shell, menacing red eyes, and caterpillar tracks for legs, symbolizing an unstoppable force. In the background, a skeletal fossil hints at past battles, while bold earthy tones of orange, green, and steel gray enhance its retro 70s feel. The distressed texture effect gives the piece an aged, worn vinyl look, perfectly evoking the era’s album cover art style. This is a must-have visual tribute for prog rock enthusiasts, album art collectors, and fans of imaginative music iconography.
