The Stare Shorts
Description: Live music venues promise thrilling sightlines and collective auditory bliss, but standing floor sections work under brutal anatomical roulette. You arrive early to secure a decent vantage point near the stage, only for a towering giant with broad shoulders to position himself directly in your line of vision. Instead of watching your favorite musical artist perform guitar solos, you spend the evening bobbing your neck side to side, studying hair textures and earlobes. Every attempt to shift positions only reveals an equally impenetrable wall of tall torsos. The humor exposes the shared misery of crowded standing venues, capturing the comedic frustration of paying cash to experience a concert to end up examining the back of an enormous neck.

Description: The Stare That Says Show Up: Weathered Elder in Red Stripe Face Paint (Dark Version) Show up. Vote. This non-partisan patriotic portrait puts a weathered elder front and center, long dark hair framing a stern, unblinking stare, red-and-white stripes painted down his face and a stars and stripes sash across his chest. Loose pen-and-ink linework meets a speckled retro stamp VOTE headline for a gritty vintage poster look. The message is simple: every ballot counts, and the people who show up decide what comes next. Made for midterm voters, Election Day, early voting drives, first-time voters, poll workers, and anyone who treats civic duty as a responsibility to the country. Bring a friend. Original artwork by Puff Sumo.
