Description: This image was a weird ride. It started off as a color version of my earlier "splash page" piece, evolved into using those imges as a cover and then took a right turn into Doctor Doom territory. It was fun to use the more salacious elements of Blacula's marketing to make something garish ... but William Marshall deserves better. Marshall (and, by proxy, Prince Mamuwalde) had real gravitas, so I began to wonder what kind of stories about "Blacula" we might get with the world as a canvas. I also didn't want to lose sight of the fact that Mamuwalde had become a villain. So, this is what we get.

Description: Here’s my celebration piece for Tomb Raider’s 25th anniversary. I don’t want to sound like a dinosaur, but I still remember very fondly the first time I played this game. I was super excited to finally play it after some months hearing about this new adventurer and this new way of playing games. Fully 3rd person and fully 3D. 25 years have come and passed and still Lara Croft strikes a very heart warming feeling whenever I think about our history together. Like many of you, it’s almost like talking about a very close friend, who we have gone through so much together. So here it is, to 25 more years of tomb Raider and Lara Croft.
