Description: This powerful black-and-white design explores the Guadalupe/Tonantzin/Coatlicue dynamic through a raw and symbolic lens. The central swirling eye within a solar disk represents the cosmic forces of creation and destruction, embodying Coatlicue’s role as both life-giver and fierce protector. The feathered elements surrounding the disk symbolize Tonantzin’s connection to fertility and the earth, while Guadalupe’s spiritual protection resonates through the composition. The title, “Chamuscado,” meaning “scorched,” highlights themes of purification, death, and rebirth. With its dynamic, chaotic energy and contemporary aesthetic, this design bridges ancient Mesoamerican mythology and modern storytelling.
