Description: TRAPPIST-1 is an ultra-cool dwarf star located 39 light-years away from Earth, in the constellation Aquarius. It has seven Earth-sized planets in its habitable zone, with three of them receiving a similar amount of energy as Earth, making them the most promising candidates for potential habitability. The planets are tidally locked, meaning that they have one side permanently facing their star, and the other side permanently facing away.
