Description: Ultros (オルトロス, Orutorosu?), also known as Orthros, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy VI. Ultros is a carnivorous purple octopus with a writhing mass of tentacles who has a mouth full of fangs. He frequently cracks corny jokes and makes lecherous comments towards female party members. Ultros works with his partner, Typhon, who provides the muscle Ultros lacks.

There is only one ultimate villain, and his name is Ultros. Took a lot of persuasion, but after pitching the idea to make a heraldic emblem depicting him as royalty, Uncle Ulty REALLY wanted me to paint his portrait! There is a new king in town. And he has tentacles.
