Union Worker Labor Day Shorts
Description: Be proud to be a "union thug". Without labor unions, there would be no weekends, minimum wage, paid vacation, 8 hour workdays, social security, pensions, child labor laws, sick leave, overtime pay, work breaks, maternity leave, and more of the labor rights people now take for granted.
Description: Get ready to show your pride this Labor Day with our exclusive graphic featuring a powerful fist against the backdrop of the American flag. In the center, a banner boldly declares "Don't Give Up," reminding us of the resilience that drives us forward. With the words "Union Strong" displayed below and "Union Proud" reminding us of our collective strength, this design embodies the spirit of hard work and unity. Wear it proudly to celebrate the contributions of workers everywhere and honor the legacy of labor movements. Grab your piece of this dynamic representation and join the celebration of Labor Day like never before. Stand tall, stand strong – Union Strong.

Description: The Bread and Roses Strike of 1911 is an inspirational piece of labor history in the USA. The phrase "Bread and Roses" was used from the suffregette and labor movements of the early 1900's and represents the fight for not only enough compensation to survive on but also to have rest, recreation, and opportunities to grow in life.
Description: This design was originally made in 1896 by Walter Crane in celebration of May Day. I have refinished, redrawn, restored, and digitized the original artwork in order to preserve this piece of history. Check out more of my art and products at https://spacedoglaika.com/

Description: Labor unions represent United States workers in many industries recognized under US labor law since the 1935 enactment of the National Labor Relations Act. Their activity today centers on collective bargaining over wages, benefits, and working conditions for their membership, and on representing their members in disputes with management over violations of contract provisions. Larger trade unions also typically engage in lobbying activities and electioneering at the state and federal level. This '70s era design proudly states that "it's all ours!" as workers stand before the extended hand of management passing them the keys.
Description: They gave us weekends, ended child labor, are responsible for widespread employer-based health coverage, created the middle class, and helped win The Family And Medical Leave Act. Union workers average 10-30% higher pay than non-union workers. The decline of the labor movement and union membership is a large factor in the current income inequality in the U.S. today.
