Vacant Shorts
Description: A flowchart depicting a humorous organizational structure. It begins with 'Chief Morale Killer' at the top, followed by subsequent roles such as 'Director of Micromanagement', 'Director of Inertia', and others, culminating in 'Manager of Follow Through (vacant)'. The layout is a vertical hierarchy with connecting lines and text.
Description: An empty room bathed in soft pink light stands quietly between memory and possibility. Formerly Somewhere captures the peculiar feeling of encountering a place that once mattered deeply, yet whose story has slipped away. The glass-block windows diffuse the outside world into abstraction, while the vacant floor and fluorescent glow suggest a waiting room, classroom, office, or community space long removed from its original purpose. Minimalist, nostalgic, and subtly liminal, this artwork invites viewers to imagine the lives, conversations, and moments that once filled the silence.
