Valiant Shorts
Description: 1970 Valiant Hardtop Three-One-Eight In 1969 and 1970, Australians were presented with a classy two-door hardtop of the Valiant model. Essentially an American Dodge Dart body from the firewall back, the Australian front sheetmetal set the car off beautifully. For 1970, the VG model Hardtop could be had with the new and powerful 245 cubic inch "Hemi" six, or the 318 cubic inch V8 engine.

Description: 1966 Valiant VC rear end. The VE Valiant was larger than any previous Valiant model. Styling was based on that of the US Dodge Dart and Plymouth Valiant models with no body panels carried over from the VC Valiant. While the styling from the A-pillar back was Australian-influenced, sheeting forward of the A-pillar and bonnet was that of the U.S. Dart/Valiant models with the exception of the grille which was convex on the Australian models as opposed to concave on the U.S. models. The VE Valiant was announced as the winner of the Wheels magazine Car of the Year award in January 1968.

Description: This is a grad-school throwback to an old Plymouth Barracuda ad called "Shortcut". This time though, it's my brother's 1964 Valiant. This time though, you determine the body color! Pick from a plethora of colors for a shirt or break out the markers on a new notebook or sticker.
Description: 1965 Valiant AP6 rear end. The next iteration after the AP5. With a more Plymouth Barracuda-esque front grille treatment, the Valiant is becoming a better and better looker! The AP6 was also the first Valiant model to get a V8 option - the 273 cubic inch 'A' series smallblock. Indeed, the Valiant was the first of the "Aussie Big Three" (Chrysler's Valiant, Ford's Falcon, and the Holden) to gain such a choice.

Description: This Valiant label was distributed by Warner Brothers. It should not be confused with the Valiant label, which was owned and distributed by D.L. Miller out of the Philadelphia area. The Valiant label used for the 400 series is maroon with silver print. "Valiant" in silver above the center hole with a shield behind the "I". "Distributed by Warner Brothers" at the bottom of the label. Labels of blue, purple and white were also used. The white label was the promo label. The label on the 5000/25000 series was red with black printing. "Valiant RECORDS" on a black shield over and above the center hole.
