Veteran Commander Shorts
Description: A detailed digital painting of a blue-armored galactic commander — active, focused, and battle-ready. Inspired by the loyalty and leadership of the old outer rim legions, this artwork captures the spirit of a veteran who stands for courage, precision, and purpose. Painted with cinematic lighting and fine texture, it celebrates the timeless myth of the soldier who fights for something greater than himself.
Description: G.I. Joe's initial 1964 product offering represented four of the branches of the U.S. armed forces with the Action Soldier (U.S. Army), Action Sailor (U.S. Navy), Action Pilot (U.S. Air Force), Action Marine (U.S. Marine Corps) and later on, the Action Nurse. The name derived from the usage of "G.I. Joe" for the generic U.S. soldier, itself derived from the more general term "G.I.". The development of G.I. Joe led to the coining of the term "action figure". In 1982 G.I. Joe came back in a big way with a line of 3.75" action figures coupled with cartoons and comic books.
Description: G.I. Joe pays tribute to the iconic motto: “Knowing is Half the Battle.” The clever graphic features a humorous pie chart revealing the other half of the battle—split between Red Lasers and Blue Lasers, a nod to the classic animated series’ signature visual style. With its vintage design and nostalgic appeal, this shirt is perfect for fans of 1980s cartoons, military-themed action figures, and retro pop culture. Made from soft, durable fabric, it’s a standout piece for collectors and casual wearers alike.

Although lieutenant commanders are considered junior officers by their respective services, the rank of major is considered field grade in the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps. The pay grade for the rank of major is O-4. The insignia for the rank consists of a golden oak leaf, with slight stylized differences between the Army/Air Force version and the Marine Corps version

Description: In Japan, Takara released 24 G.I.Joe & Cobra figures in 1986. These figures were just like their U.S. counterparts, but were offered on more vibrant card backs with a Japanese market-specific logo and a mix of Japanese Kanji and American English text. The subtext over the logo read "We are here to help . let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go." followed by "The strongest extracurricular team on the ground." There were however some differences here and there, one of which was that Zartan was offered as a single-carded figure that did not include his Swamp Skier vehicle.
