Description: Vintage Burger Queen’s Queenie Bee tee! A nostalgic fast-food icon born in Winter Haven, Florida, where Burger Queen was founded in 1956 by Harold and Helen Kite. Introduced in 1971, Queenie Bee became the chain’s beloved cartoon bee mascot, appearing in advertisements, restaurant signs, and promotional events. In 1981, Burger Queen rebranded as Druther’s, retiring the original brand identity. A retro tribute to classic American fast-food nostalgia and one of its most memorable mascots.
Description: Vintage Burger Queen tee! A nostalgic Winter Haven, Florida fast-food favorite founded in 1956 by Harold and Helen Kite. The chain expanded across the United States and beyond, serving burgers, fries, fried chicken, and other classic American favorites. Famous for its cheerful Queenie Bee mascot, Burger Queen rebranded as Druther’s in 1981 to reflect its broader menu. The Druther’s chain later transitioned largely to Dairy Queen franchises around 1990–1991. A retro tribute to a forgotten icon of American fast-food history.
