Description: An original gold nugget character studies chemistry with a pipette and beaker in front of St. Katharine Drexel Chapel at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans. Inspired by the Gold Nuggets team name, the character was created for this illustration and does not reproduce an official mascot costume. White and gold collegiate details and vintage ink texture celebrate a playful HBCU campus science scene.
