1960s America Socks
Description: A funny political parody for fans of Mayberry, classic television and old-fashioned small-town America. This retro-inspired design imagines a simpler America with a little Mayberry makeover, making it a fun choice for classic TV fans, Andy Griffith Show enthusiasts and lovers of nostalgic Americana. I am the designer, so please be aware of fraudulent listings and copycats. I updated and reposted this nostalgic Mayberry design on 7/25/2026.
Description: No one thought Republican Richard M. Nixon would run for office again. In 1960, Nixon lost to John F. Kennedy, and just two years later, Nixon lost to Edmund Brown in his bid to be governor of California. It looked like Nixon would be out of politics for good, but in 1968, Richard Nixon won the presidency in a hard-fought campaign, and would be reelected by a landslide four years later. Nixon's victory in 1968 was one of the most improbable comebacks in American political history, and Nixon made it happen by working three times harder than any other candidate, proving that Nixon really was 'the one.'
Description: Recreation of a popular car decal from 1966 based on what was originally published in the NY Mirror Sept 1936: "The U.S.A. would be a better place to live in if all the people who didn't like it would leave it - to the rest of us who love it!" Whatever your political stance, it’s about commitment and integrity.

The team was founded in 1966 as a member of the Pacific Football League. After one season in the Pacific League the Bombers moved to the Continental Football League's newly formed Pacific Division. The Bombers became inactive in 1968 due to the lack of a suitable stadium and never reactivated.
