Description: Warehouse Economy Outlet, (W.E.O), Where Economy Originates, was a discount, warehouse-style supermarket concept that was developed in the 1970s by A&P, and is credited with being an industry first. The original W.E.O. opened in Pennsauken, New Jersey in 1971, and quickly became a successful venture. W.E.O. featured grocery items in their original wholesale bulk packaging at reduced prices. In 1972, A&P expanded this format to 1,500 existing A&P stores; however, the expansion failed as older stores built prior to the '50s were not large enough to stock bulk packaged goods. The tagline used in ads and worn by employees was "I won't stop trying till you say Weeeeeo!" but by 1975, A&P abandoned the concept, so I guess they did kinda stop.

This early doom and power metal group is known for lyrics based on fantasy, particularly the sword and sorcery variant. Description: Soul Train was an American musical variety television show that aired in syndication from October 2, 1971, to March 25, 2006. Across its 35-year history, the show primarily featured performances by R&B, soul, and hip hop artists. The origins of Soul Train can be traced to 1965 when WCIU-TV, an upstart UHF station in Chicago, began airing two youth-oriented dance programs: Kiddie-a-Go-Go and Red Hot and Blues. These programs—specifically the latter, which featured predominantly African American in-studio dancers—would set the stage for what was to come to the station several years later, when Don Cornelius would bring Soul Train to TV.
