By the '90s, Five Alive was no longer available in the U.S. market and not long after that it had disappeared from international markets as well.

The event devolved into a fiery riot when crazed rock n' roll fans stormed the field as part of an anti-disco promotional event when a local disc jockey took the field between games to destroy the records listeners had brought. Once the crate of disco records had blown up, the crowd chanting 'DISCO SUCKS' cheered uproariously and began taking the field. From there they began throwing records and cherry bombs, tearing up the field and stadium facilities and otherwise devolving into an all-out riot that ended up with the Chicago PD riot squad being called in.

Description: Galaxian is a fixed shooter video game that began showing up in arcades in 1979. The player assumes control of the star fighter Galaxip in its mission to protect Earth from waves of Galaxian aliens. Gameplay involves destroying each formation of aliens, who dive down towards the player in an attempt to hit them. Enemies divebomb towards the bottom of the screen while shooting projectiles in an attempt to hit the player. The Galaxip can only fire one shot at a time, and the player must wait for it to either hit an enemy or clear the screen before being able to fire another, due to limitations of the hardware.
Description: The first roller coasters utilized wooden track, which consists of running rails made of flat steel strips mounted to laminated wood. Wooden coaster construction became stagnant in the '70s due to the rising popularity of steel roller coaster design, but a few new builds bucked the trend to keep the Golden Age of roller coasters alive. One such example is 'The Beast,' built in 1979 in Mason, Ohio. This was the tallest, fastest, and longest wooden roller coaster in the world at the time of it's opening. Decades later, it is still the longest, spanning 7,361 feet, racing across 35 acres of hilly, wooded terrain. Two lift hills contribute to the ride's duration of more than four minutes, which also ranks as one of the world's longest runtimes.

Description: Ernst Home Centers, Inc. was a chain of home improvement retail stores founded in Seattle, Washington, in 1893 by Seattle brothers Charles and Fred Ernst. In 1960, Ernst became a division of Pay 'n Save, one of the largest retail companies in the Pacific Northwest. After a 1984 takeover of Pay 'n Save, Ernst was sold off and went public a decade later. Following several highly publicized lawsuits and a failed attempt to open larger stores, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1996 and liquidated the following year. At the company's peak, it operated 95 stores in 12 western U.S. states. This design is based on Ernst's '70s logo, which was in place until their first rebranding in 1980, which was way less cool.
