Description: The Unfolding is an expansive and uplifting blend of modern classical, ambient, and progressive electronic elements. Rich orchestration and evolving textures create a deeply immersive experience, exploring themes of connection, renewal, and human emotion through dynamic, cinematic sound.
Description: The Computer graphic screen on which Gary and Wyatt 'program' their own Kelly Le Brock in 1985's weird science movie. You can tell it's a serious piece of computing hardware because it requires X Y and Z coordinates. Which is why the computer babe they build is exactly 79 inches by 140 inches by 78 inches in size. ROFL. Great gift for 80s movie fans, retro computing geeks and weird scientists.
Description: Live Aid was a dual-venue benefit concert held on July 13, 1985, and an ongoing music-based fundraising initiative. The original event was organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for relief of the ongoing Ethiopian famine. Billed as the "global jukebox," the event was held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London (attended by 72,000 people) and John F. Kennedy Stadium in Philadelphia (attended by about 100,000 people). On the same day, concerts inspired by the initiative happened in other countries, such as the Soviet Union, Canada, Japan, Yugoslavia, Austria, Australia, and West Germany. It was one of the largest-scale satellite link-ups and television broadcasts of all time.
