2006 Socks

Description: A playful yet poignant visual for Élan Vital, the 2006 release from post-punk band Pretty Girls Make Graves. Centered in the design is a multicolored melting ice cream cone—symbolic of fleeting youth and bittersweet beauty—rendered in faded, weathered textures. The bold art-deco-style band name arches above, contrasting pop imagery with the band’s emotionally charged, genre-blending sound. It's a vibrant, ironic reflection of indie sensibilities wrapped in visual charm and subversive wit.
