Description: Arctic Valley Ski Area in Anchorage, Alaska hired me to create the new map of the mountain. This is the painting I created for the map. For the actual map I added lifts/runs in Photoshop to a photo of this painting before I painted the chairlifts. The original painting was auctioned off during the ski area's annual fundraising auction in 2021.
Description: Every time I see a person wipe out on the ski slope, I can't help but picture an octopus skiing in my mind. That's what inspired me to paint this piece called Octo-schuss.
