Banggai Cardinalfish Socks
Description: Hand-drawn ink illustration of a Banggai cardinalfish. I made this drawing using ink pens on Bristol board, the drawing is made entirely using dots. Found only around the Banggai Islands of Indonesia, Banggai cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni) have an elegant appearance, with white bodies that are striped with black and highlighted with small white spots along their fins and tails. These small tropical fish are very popular as an aquarium pet and are also sadly endangered due to this.
