Description: Laika (Russian: Лайка; c. 1954 – 3 November 1957) was a Soviet space dog who became one of the first animals in space, and the first animal to orbit the Earth. Laika, a stray mongrel from the streets of Moscow, was selected to be the occupant of the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 2 that was launched into outer space on 3 November 1957. Little was known about the impact of spaceflight on living creatures at the time of Laika's mission, and the technology to de-orbit had not yet been developed, so Laika's survival was never expected. Some scientists believed humans would be unable to survive the launch or the conditions of outer space, so engineers viewed flights by animals as a necessary precursor to human missions.
Description: Design inspired on emblems from Soviet Union CCCP Space Exploration Programs. Buran (Russian: Бура́н, IPA: [bʊˈran], Snowstorm or Blizzard) was the first spaceplane to be produced as part of the Soviet/Russian Buran programme. It carried the GRAU index serial number 11F35 K1 and is – depending on the source – also known as OK-1K1, Orbiter K1, OK 1.01 or Shuttle 1.01. Besides describing the first operational Soviet/Russian shuttle orbiter, "Buran" was also the designation for the whole Soviet/Russian space shuttle project.
Description: A retro Soviet-inspired propaganda design featuring a commanding officer, vintage typography, industrial backdrops, and classic Cold War aesthetics. Blending dystopian satire with bold mid-century poster design, this artwork evokes alternate history, surveillance culture, and authoritarian iconography.

Description: A bold retro sci-fi design featuring a commanding female officer, a towering rocket and a massive red planet in a stark space-age propaganda style. Red Venus Command blends vintage pulp science fiction, retro futurism and Cold War-inspired visual drama into a striking fictional movie aesthetic.
Description: The 1974 World’s Fair took place in Spokane, Washington during the Cold War, though the Soviets were one of the first nations to commit to be a part of Expo '74. Their participation marked the first time since the New York World’s Fair of 1939-1940 that the Soviets had exhibited on U.S. soil. The USSR's pavilion was a massive show stealer that was by far the biggest exhibit at Expo, occupying an acre and a half of Havermale Island. Visitors were greeted by a colossal sculpted map of Russia outside the pavilion, which weighed over two tons, and were treated to "I visited the Soviet pavilion!" tchotchkes ranging from t-shirts and bags to posters and pins.
Description: An illustration depicting the space journey of Laika, a Soviet space dog who became one of the first animals in space and the first animal to orbit the Earth. Laika, a stray dog from the streets of Moscow, was selected to fly aboard the Soviet spacecraft Sputnik 2, launched into outer space on November 3, 1957.
Description: Stylized photo of everybody's favorite mass murdering dictator in his hipster youth. I first ran across this photo in the Stalin Museum in Gori, Georgia about 10 years ago and remarked on how much of a hipster young Dzugashvili looked, and ever since Montefiorre's book, it seems like everybody's got the same opinion.
Description: vintage exploitation movie poster inspired by Cold War cinema, Euro cult films, and 1970s pulp artwork. Featuring the ruthless commander of a remote prison camp, this retro design combines bold typography, propaganda-inspired visuals, and cinematic composition to capture the look of classic grindhouse movie posters.
