Chocks Away Socks

Description: Chocks Away was a term used by World War Two pilots when they wanted the blocks known as chocks placed in front of the plane's wheels to be removed so the plane can take off. It's now used to mean let's go, let's get started.

Description: Battle of Britain - A chock is a wedge of wood or metal that you place behind a wheel to keep a vehicle from rolling. Chocks Away is a command to remove an aeroplane's chocks in preparation for imminent take-off.
