Coruscant Socks
Description: The Foereost Shipyards was a shipyard that orbited the planet Foerost. They were originally used by the Galactic Republic, but were often targeted or taken over by the Republic's enemies. The Krath and Mandalorians raided the Shipyards to acquire a fleet with which to attack Coruscant. Darth Malak and Revan later stole a fleet from the Shipyards when they broke away from the Republic and formed a new Sith Empire. Millennia later, after the Republic Navy and the Republic Army were disbanded, the shipyards were sold to the Techno Union. The Separatists built the Bulwark Fleet at Foerost during the Clone Wars to break the Republic siege of the world and attack the Core Worlds.

Bestine IV was chosen by the Galactic Empire as the site of new, high-security naval shipyards in 3 BBY. Unlike most naval yards, this was to be located directly on the water of Bestine instead of in a zero-gravity environment. Although the shipyard to all outward appearances manufactured shells for Acclamator-class assault ships, it was in reality conducting research and development on the TIE torpedo.

Among the foodstuffs sold was the Bantha Breakfast Biscuit, its signature blue sauce, the alcoholic beverage ardees, and meal offers such as a QuickSnack, QuickSnackLite, and Jolly Meal.

The company was owned by the even larger Commerce Guild, a conglomerate of retailers, arms manufacturers, agricorps, and other service providers. During the Clone Wars, SoroSuub's Sullustan Home Guard, led by Admiral Dua Ningo, threw its support behind the armed forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, as part of the Commerce Guild's arrangement, and was charged with defending both the Sullust sector and the company's interests.
