Description: BlasTech Industries was one of the galaxy's top three arms manufacturers, with Merr-Sonn and SoroSuub being its main competitors. BlasTech was the market leader in the manufacture of personal energy weapons and light artillery. BlasTech was most famous for its blaster weapons, though the company also manufactured a number of starship weapons including turbolasers, ion cannons and missiles.
Description: Biscuit Baron was a dining establishment owned by the House of Tagge through the Tagge Company's subsidiary Tagge Restaurant Association. With stores located on several planets throughout the galaxy, Biscuit Baron was, by the time of the Galactic Empire's prominence, the largest restaurant chain in existence. Sullust possessed one such establishment, as did Byblos Starport, Coruscant, and Commenor. Among the foodstuffs sold was the Bantha Breakfast Biscuit, its signature blue sauce, the alcoholic beverage ardees, and meal offers such as a QuickSnack, QuickSnackLite, and Jolly Meal.
Description: Wookiee Trading Co. was a trade company on the planet of Kashyyyk at the time of the Galactic Civil War. Employees could be found, among other places, in Kachirho and a Rodian hunting camp near the Etyyy region. These Wookiees bought all kinds of things that adventurers acquired on their journeys through the Kashyyykian jungles.
Description: Corellian Vehicle Reclamation was Corellia's leading landspeeder repossession company. It was repeatedly attacked by local gangs that were hired by enraged customers whose vehicles had been repossessed. The company's CEO often hired armed individuals to eliminate those gangs to prevent further attacks. This company is mentioned in the mission "Stop Rampages Through My Officer" that is available at Mission Terminals on Corellia in Star Wars Galaxies. The CEO hires the player to attack the base of a gang and destroy it.
Description: Gowix Computers was a computer-manufacturing company headquartered on the planet Corellia for much of its history. Founded sometime before 300 BBY, it was acquired as a subsidiary of the Tagge Company in the years before the Clone Wars, and Gowix became a staunch supporter of the Galactic Republic and later the Galactic Empire, under its new parent company. However, privateer raids sanctioned by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War eventually forced Chief Executive Officer Gohn Danfeil to relocate the company to the planet Corulag.
Description: Czerka Arms, also known as Czerka Weapons, formerly known as the Czerka Corporation, and founded as Czerka Mining and Industrial, was a galaxy-spanning business during the reigns of the Galactic Republic, Sith Empire, Galactic Empire, New Republic, and Galactic Federation of Free Alliances. It controlled interests on Korriban, Kashyyyk, Tatooine, Telos IV and to a much lesser extent Trandosha, Taris and Dantooine along with countless other planets. The corporation exported many of their weapons to Justa Starport on Mutanda.
Description: Olin/Lands was a business organized by Ferus Olin and Roan Lands in the few years prior to the Clone Wars, with their offices on Bellassa. It was established to protect victims of corrupt businesses by aiding them in creating new identities and finding new homes. It was a thriving business until the end of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire. The business was shut down when the Imperials announced the warrants for the arrests of the two entrepreneurs, since Olin was a former Jedi Knight.
Description: Corellian Masternav, Incorporation was a Corellia based company that was renowned for producing highly accurate astrogation maps. They used droidships to conduct survey missions. App. 1 year after the Battle of Yavin a Corellian Meatlump gang started firing warning shots at Masternav's astrogation surveyor ships, followed by extortion attempts, demanding payments to "protect" Masternav's ships. In the absence of adequate police involvement, Masternav commissioned an independent agent to destroy the gangster base and protect their business.
Description: Just prior to leaving the planet Tatooine in 0 BBY, R2-D2 and C-3PO were temporarily separated from their new master. In order to evade Imperial stormtroopers on the streets of Mos Eisley, among other things, the two droids posed as employees of a fictional company—Skywalker Technical Maintenance Service. Skywalker Technical Maintenance Service was an extremely small business. Its labor pool consisted entirely of one astromech droid and one protocol droid. In fact, it was so small that its presumed chief executive—Luke Skywalker—was likely unaware of its existence.
Description: Bornaryn Trading was a company that was co-founded and co-owned by Bornan Thul and his wife, Aryn during the Galactic Civil War. After Bornan's death in 24 ABY, Aryn become sole owner of the corporation, although Bornan's brother Tyko helped her to maintain the conglomerate's operations. Prior to the Swarm War, Bornaryn Trading purchased a controlling interest in the long-running droid manufacturing corporation of Industrial Automaton, following the release of that company's R9-series astromech droid.
Description: Outer Rim Supply Co. was a company that was active in the galaxy. An advertisement for the company could be found in Stobar Spaceport during the Clone Wars, and Horizon Base during the Galactic Civil War. A poster with the company's logo was used to decorate Joopa Base, the home of clone veterans Rex, Wolffe and Gregor. An Ugnaught worker at Reklam Station had a sticker with the company's logo on their helmet.
Description: Santhe/Sienar Technologies, owned by the Santhe Corporation, was a massive umbrella corporation based on the planet Lianna in the Tion Cluster that manufactures an exceptionally wide range of vehicles and weapons. Originally Republic Sienar Systems, Santhe/Sienar Technologies provided numerous starships for the Galactic Republic for many millennia. A short-lived subsidiary, Sienar Design Systems, produced the Sith Infiltrator. Though they denied any involvement in the ship's design, SDS was forced to shut down due to intense scrutiny from the Senate. A century before the Battle of Yavin, the Sienars united with the Santhe family, who owned Santhe Security, due to an arranged marriage.
Description: Blackwater Systems was a company opened on the planet of Falleen sometime before 24 BBY by the criminal Granta Omega and scientist Jenna Zan Arbor as a research and development facility for the Zone of Self-Containment drug. The company was known for ignoring environmental and safety laws, and was the target of a protest group that attempted to expose its illegal actions. In 24 BBY, several Jedi infiltrated Blackwater's factory, and Omega chose to destroy it rather than let his work be discovered.
Description: Bolzi Design & Transmogrification was an architectural firm managed by members of the Ugor species. In 84 BBY, the company built the luxury ports for the space station known as the Wheel, incorporating morphometric technology in its system, which represented a great scientific achievement at the time.
Description: Drekker Industries was the organization that owned X7 Factory Drekker. The Deep Space Manufacturing Facility, otherwise known as the X7 Factory or X-7 factory station, was a spaceborne manufacturing plant of standardized design produced by both Kost & Ko Factories and the Telgorn Corporation.
Description: Kost & Ko Factories was a manufacturer of the Deep Space Manufacturing Facility, also known as the X7 Factory Station. This company is referenced in the tech-room stats for both TIE Fighter and X-wing vs. TIE Fighter, but X-wing Alliance listed the manufacturer as the Telgorn Corporation.
Description: The Brotherhood of Darkness was a group of Sith that rose to power in the last decade of the Galactic Republic's Dark Age. Founded by Jedi Master–turned–Dark Lord of the Sith Skere Kaan, the Brotherhood took the place of the fragmented Sith Empire after slaughtering many of its most powerful lords. Forming the Dark Army, a force of warriors and soldiers meant to rain fire upon Republic worlds, the Brotherhood existed under the leadership of the Sith Council of Lords, constantly warring with the Jedi Order's Army of Light until both armies were utterly decimated at the Seventh Battle of Ruusan.
Description: Pulsar Supertanker was a company allied with the Trade Federation. It was not as consumed with the bottom line as the rest of the Federation, which led to its expulsion from the organization. It was a young Nute Gunray's testimony to the Trade Federation Directorate against the company that first brought him to the attention of Darth Sidious.
Description: Cularin SpaceNav was a company that operated in the Cularin system during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. Cularin SpaceNav maintained and analyzed live data about safe shipping routes through the Cularin comet cloud. Most of the data was supplied by the Comet Broom Service and was used by shipping. During the time of the Clone Wars, the Dark Jedi Garth Ezzar had an inaccuracy placed in some of the data supplied to Cularin SpaceNav by Comet Broom. The freighter Fricasseed Nerf was supplied with the faulty navigational data by SpaceNav and as a result, collided with a comet fragment.
Description: Coronet Durasteel was a company represented by an official in Coronet Spaceport on Corellia. When the planet was invaded by the reconstituted Sith Empire, Coronet Durasteel was quick to ally itself with the Sith. Other Corellian companies did not yield to the Empire, however, and despite Coronet Durasteel's efforts to persuade them otherwise in a bid to appease their Imperial overseers, companies such as Czerka Corellia, the Corellian Engineering Corporation, and Corellia StarDrive did not fall to Imperial persuasion until resistance was crushed by Imperial forces coordinated by Darth Charnus, the apprentice of Darth Decimus, who was leader of the Imperial occupation.
Description: Telgorn Corporation was the manufacturer of a number of space stations and a large line of small transports in addition to jolt cells around the time of the Galactic Civil War. They produced things for both the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It is possible that Kost & Ko Factories entered a joint venture with the Telgorn Corporation over the design and manufacture of the X7 Deep Space Manufacturing Facility, or at least licensed the right to produce it to the larger company.
Description: The X7 Factory, often simply known as the Deep Space Manufacturing Facility, is a spaceborne manufacturing plant of standardized design produced by both Kost & Ko Factories and the Telgorn Corporation. Because of its versatility, the X7 Factory is used for many different manufacturing processes. It is often used in the production of goods requiring microgravity in order to achieve high purity, such as specialized crystals or biotech products. Other uses include starfighter assembly and weapons fabrication.
Description: Hyrotii Assembly Services was a company that employed Gafferky Lenzwin as a salesbeing during the reign of the Galactic Empire. Lenzwin was sent on a work assignment to Coronet City on the planet Corellia, but risked his career with the company by leaving without a sale in 13 BBY due to health concerns. Hyrotii Assembly Services was first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.
Description: The Aakaash system was located in the Oplovis sector. According to Mostima, the population of the system was almost completely human with a population of 174.2 billion. It was largely independent from the Galactic Republic and was ruled by the Land & Sky Corporation. The system also had its own language that was remarked to be very difficult to learn.
Description: The Star Forge was a giant automated shipyard, designed to create the most powerful army of all time. It was constructed by the Rakatan Infinite Empire in 30,000 BBY, five thousand years before the rise of the Galactic Republic. The Star Forge drew energy and matter from a nearby star which, when combined with the power of the Force, was capable of creating an endless supply of ships, droids, and other war material. The Rakata, also known as "The Builders," constructed the massive space station through the use of slaves from many subject worlds including Belsavis, Corellia, Coruscant, Dantooine, Drall, Duro, Kashyyyk, Manaan, Selonia, Sleheyron, Malastare, and Tatooine.
