Daffodil Day Socks
Description: A bright, stylized daffodil fills the top half of the image: six golden-yellow petals surround an orange, ruffled trumpet with a tiny dark center and subtle pollen detail. Slim, blade-like green leaves fan out behind the bloom, and short radiating lines give the flower a sunburst, celebratory feel. Below the flower sits a pale rectangular plaque; the word WALES is printed across it in bold, uppercase green letters, and underneath, in smaller red uppercase type, it reads ST. DAVID'S DAY. The overall design is clean and conveys a festive, national motif : simple, warm, and proudly celebratory. ABOUT THE ART © Saturday, February 14, 2026, 8:54:30 AM Tracey Harrington-Simpson

The trumpet at the center is a warmer orange ringed by a small, dark core where a few tiny stamen-like shapes sit, giving the bloom a bold, slightly stylized realism. Beneath the bloom the word Wales sits in large, chunky yellow letters. The overall effect is flat, poster-like and retro-modern: simple shapes, saturated colors, and confident composition.
