Description: Charlie Manson led his self styled 'Family' out into the desert. 1969 was the year of Helter Skelter and Death Valley would provide sanctuary to his chosen few. The Death Valley 69 design is also inspired by the song recorded by the alt/rock band Sonic Youth featuring Lydia Lunch. The video for the song was directed by Richard Kern and featured alternative model Lung Leg.
