Deer Socks
Description: A Deer Tick. Also called the Black-Legged Tick. Creepy little parasites that are my personal most-feared bug. I thought it would be fun to make a design with one. Where I grew up in Maine, these little parasites have become a huge menace to anyone who sets foot in the woods, or even the tall grass at the side of the road. All Mainers have discussed methods for staying safe from these little creepy-crawlies, at some point.
Description: You never know what will happen in Midsomer. Ahhh...Spring, when apple trees are blossoming, bees are working, and murder is looming. One chilly night in the fog of smoke one meets his death and winds up in a vat of cider. The Night of the Stag is where murderous sorts meet the law.
Description: This design was what originally sparked my interest in creating t-shirt designs and it was probably the most time consuming to create. This design was created using an image from my trip to Japan. This image was taken at the Itsukushima Shrine, also known as the Great Torii. The shrine is located on an island which is inhabited by deer which are very friendly to people. I waited in the rain for thirty minutes to get this image of the deer, and in the original image, I have the Great Torri framed in on the left side of the deer's head. The kanji "厳島神社" and "レトロディア" on the shirt says "Itsukushima Shrine" and "Retro Deer."
