Description: This design is all about the typography of the funny quote for most dog lovers people. The Quote is "Proud Parents of Devon Rex That Are Sometimes Assholes But That's Ok". It is beautiful typography with a photo of a cute dog, which enhances the beauty of this typography design.
Description: Teignmouth in Devon (UK) is a picturesque little seaside town that sits at the end of the Teign estuary. The rock here is classic Devonian sandstone - a red coloured stone that can be seen in the famous red sands and the cliffs (that the train weaves its way through en route from Exeter to Plymouth). Half the pub sign is missing, so I'm not sure its full name, so for now its the New 'Q'! This view of a corner of the harbour area is the first of hopefully many that I'll be painting over coming months. Painted in oil on a 16x12 inch board.
Description: Sidmouth is another of those devon seaside towns with distinctive red Devonian sandstone cliffs and beach. Seen here from its Western promenade as it climbs the cliff, I've painted this view in oil on a 12x12 inch board. Carry on behind me and you'll come to a nice clifftop spot for tea and a very large slice of cake!
Description: Smeaton's Tower is a memorial to the civil engineer John Smeaton, who designed the third Eddystone Lighthouse that was situated off Plymouth. Smeaton`s Lighthouse was operational from 1759 to 1877, when the base upon which it stood started to erode. It was dismantled and rebuilt at Plymouth Hoe.
