Description: Three of the four tapir species are endangered: due to hunting (meat and skin) and fragmentation of the habitat (illegal logging etc.). These animals have the right to live and are important for the world and for us. Why? Because they eat lots of fruits and berries. The seeds survive the tapir's digestive system, that will later be "pooped" out in new locations.
