Description: Not really a monster or a maniacs I guess, but at the time, Johnny Lawrence from "The Karate Kid" was at least a certified jerkwad. But hey, everyone gets another run, and Johnny now is more hero than anything else. And William Zabka is a super good guy, so basically this is an excuse to draw him and one of my favorite '80s movie characters.
Description: This powerful image is a portrait of an actual Byeri reliquary guardian figure, originally from the Fang peoples of Gabon. Such figures are intended to guard the relics of tribal ancestors, & are placed atop the containers housing the ancestral relics. The "stem" supporting the figure's buttocks would be used to help secure the statue by inserting it into the lid of the Byeri box.
