Description: G.I. Joe's initial 1964 product offering represented four of the branches of the U.S. armed forces with the Action Soldier (U.S. Army), Action Sailor (U.S. Navy), Action Pilot (U.S. Air Force), Action Marine (U.S. Marine Corps) and later on, the Action Nurse. The name derived from the usage of "G.I. Joe" for the generic U.S. soldier, itself derived from the more general term "G.I.". The development of G.I. Joe led to the coining of the term "action figure". In 1982 G.I. Joe came back in a big way with a line of 3.75" action figures coupled with cartoons and comic books.

Description: M.A.S.K. is a media franchise created by Kenner. The main premise revolved around the fight between an underground task force called M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) and a criminal organization called V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem). After its initial launch in 1985, the franchise spawned a variety of products, including four series of action figures, an animated television series, video games, comics, and a live-action theatrical film is currently in development by Hasbro Studios and Paramount.
Description: Snake Eyes is the G.I. Joe team's silent but deadly ninja commando. Combining specialized Army Ranger training with that of the Arashikage ninja clan, Snake Eyes is an expert at hand-to-hand combat, edged weapons, and firearms of all kinds. His preferred weapons tend to be his trusted sword and a submachine gun.
Description: For at least 40,000 years, Nemesis Enforcer was the man Golobulus turned to for military or enforcement tasks. He was first seen capturing a couple of dozen G.I.Joes who’d pursued the Cobra Commander into Cobra-La. Enforcer “fetched” the fleeing Commander himself. Nemesis Enforcer subsequently took a hand in releasing Serpentor from G.I.Joe custody.
Description: Shipwreck grew up next to the sprawling San Diego Navy Yards. He enlisted at the youngest possible age with his parents' permission and then served with distinction in the Mekong Delta where he contended with river pirates, smugglers, and insurgents. He also spent time at several naval bases and on carrier-initiated operations in the Middle East. After saving Flint & Mutt from a desert sand storm as well as Cobra he joined the G.I. Joe Team, the rest as they say is history.
Description: The Joes find themselves in a battle to both stop Cobra and locate the Pyramid's self destruct controls. Finding themselves in enemy territory, Shipwreck and Snake Eyes elude Cobra forces and are able to steal information about the Pyramid and the cubes from Cobra's production facility in Enterprise City. Hiding in a Cobra-frequented nightclub, they ally themselves with a singer named Satin, who provides them with disguises and sneaks them out of Cobra territory. They make it back to Joe HQ and are able to pass on the info about the Pyramid, including the self-destruct mechanism to deactivate it permanently.

All that can be said after that stint is he went on a long sabbatical, most believe it was in Japan. Some say he was training with the same ninja clan that begat Storm Shadow. We know his fighting skills have become more efficient and deadly. Rumors surfaced that when he was recruited into the Joe Team by Hawk, he was hunting rabbits at the time... with his bare hands.

Description: Zartan is a master of make-up and disguise. Very little is known of his background, but he is suspected to have received European military academy training at St. Cyr. Zartan can alter his skin color at will to blend in with his environment and is a practitioner of several mystic martial arts. He is also a ventriloquist, a polyglot (speaking over 20 languages and dialects), and an acrobatic contortionist. Zartan and the Dreadnoks have also been known to use holographic technology and other means to disguise themselves.
Description: Serpentor is the product of a conspiracy within Cobra to create the perfect soldier. A cabal of Cobra scientists led by Dr. Mindbender and Destro raided just about every tomb to contain history's greatest warriors. They scrounged every scrap of DNA they could that would serve as the genetic blueprint of this super soldier. Thanks to Mindbender's genius, Serpentor is imbued with the memories and experience of these legendary men. Serpentor possesses acute military genius, courage, daring, charisma, political knowhow and fighting prowess that easily overshadows Cobra Commander's. His creators neglected to take into consideration that the warriors from which Serpentor's DNA come from also happen to be cunning and ruthless leaders.
