Description: UNDR CONTROL - „Mindshots“ is a series of universally understandable illustrations created to convey my personal thoughts and current questions by graphic means. It addresses aspects of modern and daily life, such as cyberbullying, digitalization, communication, and love, in a stylistically reduced manner. The original imagery shifts in color from black to grey to red, and is sometimes critical, at times ironic, and at times humorous. This illustration you see here found its way here because it is one of the most liked and discussed on various channels. For more „Mindshots“ check instagram.com/maivisto. Hope you enjoy it.
Description: Giant Sunflower and Bear Welcome by Debra Martz While spending a week in La Veta, Colorado in late September, I passed this sunflower a number of times. I had never seen a sunflower taller than the roofline of a house! Finally, drove intentionally there to stop for a photo. And, of course, it is bear country so I included the bear welcome in the composition. On private property, so I shot from the sidewalk from my eye level though it would have been neat to shoot from directly under it. ©Debra Martz, All Rights Reserved 20210919-DSC_5333
