Description: San Francisco's Glen Park Hardware was founded by Ed Josephson in 1963 at 685 Chenery Street in a building that was constructed in 1900. Josephson ran his hardware store until selling it to Hal and Susan Tauber in 1978. The Tauber's ran it until retiring in 2016 and selling the business which could change hands a few times before it's closure in 2024. Glen Park Hardware was where locals went for everything from bug spray and screws to plumbing parts and tools, as well as advice, making it much-loved part of the neighborhood for 61 years.
