Description: Growing up in Reno in the 70s and 80s, I would ask my mom to drive downtown so I could see the Casino lights. One of the hotels I was fascinated with was the Mapes and how the 2 cowboys stood making the M in Mapes. This was one of the reasons I went in to Graphic Illustration and Logo Design. I wish I had been old enough to go inside the Casino and see this beauty on the inside. In her honor I have re-created and modified the matchbook illustration from the 1950s in 3 colors Blue, Pink and Green
