Description: Pride Koi featuring the colours of the Queerplatonic Pride flag! -Queerplatonic relationship: An umbrella term for any relationship that bends the rules for telling apart romantic relationships from non-romantic relationships. A queerplatonic relationship can be monogamous or polyamorous, involving more than two people. Pursuing a queerplatonic relationship is not necessarily mutually exclusive with pursuing romantic relationships, and the term is not restricted to any identity category.
Description: This unique yin yang design by artist Jeff Bartels features two stylized koi fish. A traditional Japanese fish appears in both sides of this symbol for natural balance. The scales of the fish are defined by the negative space in between small half circles that run down the length of the bodies. The simple fins are painted a solid color that mirrors the opposite side if the yin yang. This stylish pattern is a beautiful interpretation of this ancient symbol.
Description: "Harmony" took 3 years to complete. I began working on it before covid-19 and was the project I put off time and time again. I was frustrated, excited, and upset, and there were times I wanted to scrap this and throw it away entirely. Summer 2023 it was finished. I learned balance and peace with creative process and execution. If you have a creative project lying around: Go do it. Push. As hard as you can, push through. You just need a little peace and harmony.
