The Kool-Aid Man has a broad smile and large eyes, with simple cartoonish features. The text Kool-Aid is prominently displayed above in bold, retro lettering. The image has a distressed texture, giving it a worn, nostalgic look, set against a beige background.
Description: Adon Perkins invented Kool-Aid in Hastings, Nebraska. All of his testing took place in his mother's kitchen. The previous product was a concentrated liquid called Fruit Smack. Seeking to reduce shipping costs, in 1927 Perkins discovered a way to remove the water from Fruit Smack, leaving only a powder. This powder was named Kool-Aid. The Kool-Aid industry moved to Chicago in 1931, and Kool-Aid was sold to General Foods in 1953.
