Koru Socks
Description: Miromiro is the Maori name for the North Island Tomtit. Drawn incorporating Maori Koru patterns. The koru (Māori for “loop”) is a spiral shape based on the shape of a new unfurling silver fern frond and symbolizing new life, growth, strength and peace. Draw with vector, the back ground is a forest brown inspired by the natural habitat of the small bird of the New Zealand bush.
Description: Pure as bro. This is a play on the Kiwi saying “SWEET AS BRO” mixed with the NZ pure slogan. You can’t go far in NZ without hearing someone say “sweet as bro”, meaning anything from yes to fit for purpose. I drew the Kiwi using Koru. The colours are black, with white text and a black Kiwi forming the centre of the O. Thanks for looking at my New Zealand / Aotearoa designs.
