Liberal Feminist Socks
Description: I have had this illustration on my to-do list for actual *years* It wasn’t until I started sifting through my old planner the other day (so I could grab any useful info before I tossed it) that I suddenly realized, ahhh bleeding hearts (dicentra) are a kind of perennial! And a kind of perennial I actually really loved. So, of course I was inspired! This illustration references a Victorian anatomical-ish heart print and several different bleeding heart specimens.
Description: Celebrate these 12 women's power to resist, persist and succeed. Malala Yousafzai, Virginia Woolf, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Amelia Earhart, Jane Goodall, Katherine Johnson, Rachel Carson, Michelle Obama, Ida B Wells, Georgia O'Keefe, Frida Kahlo, Elizabeth Cady Stanton. See my other feminist designs including designs highlighting each of these women individually.
Description: One time when I was visiting my grandparents, my grandfather talked about an article in the paper that talked about the definition of liberal. He recited it then said, why would anyone not want to be called liberal? That stuck with me. Liberal should be a badge of honor. It is not an insult to be called liberal.
