Description: Centennial Liquor Store was one of Austin's longest continuously operating retail businesses and a local favorite as a result. Aside from being the go-to spot for liquor, beer, and wine in town, most people will know it from its appearance in the 1993 film, Dazed and Confused. in the movie, it shows up after Melvin asks if Mitch can “run over to the Centennial over there and pick me up a sixer.” Mitch proceeds to play it cool while buying beer at the liquor store across from the Emporium. Of course, that was the movie version of things as the actual Centennial liquor store was located at 6534 N Lamar Blvd and not across the street from the Emporium, but it has since been demolished.
Description: Sandy Shores is a small desert town located in the middle of the Grand Senora Desert in Blaine County, San Andreas, that appears in the online gaming universe. Situated south of Grapeseed, Sandy Shores sits on the coastline of the Alamo Sea and overlooks the towering Mount Chiliad. It's a beach town nowhere near the ocean, where the city center is a trailer park and the beach is a mixture of toxic sludge and pulverized fish bones. It has a dry, arid climate, and is home to many coyotes and bike gang members, both of which frequently end up as roadkill. At some point in time, it had a population of approximately 3,010, as seen on a welcome sign on the approach to the town. Sandy Shores is based on California's real life Salton Sea region.

Description: While the wine world has its Sommeliers, the liquor world had a biker named Feral Daryl. This uniquely nicknamed gent was a well known friend of many San Bernardino MC's, and was a veritable human encyclopedia when it came to hard alcohol. Daryl worked off and on as a bartender for years, but in the early '80s, he rolled the dice and opened Feral Daryl’s Liquor World just outside of Victorville in Adelanto, California. He was more than thrilled to no longer be slinging drinks, and instead spending his time helping customers find the perfect liquors, mixers, and even advise on food pairings. For 25 years, Feral Daryl’s Liquor World was the place to go, even if it was a little out of your way, so consider yourself lucky if you made the trip.
