In short: one of the most iconic softwarehouses from the '80 and '90. This logo is a vectors replica of the second version (the one I remember most fondly), then masked with scratches and age old dust. Hope you like it! :-D

Description: William Shakespeare - The Globe Theatre was a theatre in London associated with William Shakespeare. It was built in 1599 at Southwark, close to the south bank of the Thames, by Shakespeare's playing company, the Lord Chamberlain's Men. It was destroyed by fire on the 29th of June 1613. A second Globe Theatre was built on the same site by June 1614 and stayed open until the London theatre closures of 1642. As well as plays by Shakespeare, early works by Ben Jonson, Thomas Dekker and John Fletcher were first performed here.

The decision to write the regeneration features of the Doctor came after the first Doctor, William Hartnell, had health problems and struggled with his lines. The show was a hit and obviously, the producers didn't want the show to end, so they considered replacing Hartnell with a lookalike, as had been done on many shows in the past when an actor couldn't continue with the role. Fortunately, the creators had the idea that the Doctor, being an alien, could simply regenerate every cell in his body when he died. This way, they could cast a fresh, completely different actor without all the fuss of "does he really look like and act like the original Doctor?" ...
